Benefits of membership in New York State Coalition for the Aging(NYSCA)

  • A state wide organization located in Albany, advocating for seniors throughout New York State.
  • Training sessions of aging professionals throughout the year, co-hosted by NYSCA with possibility of CEU Continuing credits.
  • Promotion of Individual Agencies through bi-monthly meetings from September to May.
  • Networking opportunities with many other for-profit and not-for-profit agencies serving Long Island seniors.
  • Up to date legislative isssues concerning the latest concerns of the senior population.
  • Speakers and panels on topics suggested by the LICA members to inform and educate aging professionals.

There is a yearly fee of $40 for membership.
